My favorite thing - post n°3

My favorite thing is my viola. The viola is a stringed musical instrument similar to a violin, but a little larger and with a lower sound.

I got it five years ago when I started to play it. My grandfather gave it to me as a gift, because he was so happy that I was learning something new and beautiful.

It can be played with varying techniques, but the basic things someone needs to know is that you have to put it on your left shoulder and take the bow with you right hand.

Sadly I haven’t used it often lately because I’m not part of any group of music, but I would say that  I use it once a month when I feel like I miss to play it.

I like it because it has a beautiful sound and because it’s a very special object to me, I mean when I was part of the orchestra I was with a lot of my friends and those were really happy moments.

My life without it would be so boring and I wouldn’t have those awesome memories. Neither would have different and unique experiences.

What's your opinion? - post n°2

What is your opinion about immigration?

I think we have to be open to new cultures in our country so we can meet other realities that we didn’t know they existed. Also, we can’t deny a home in Chile to someone who really needs it. It could be beneficial to us.

What is your opinion about buying instead of adopting pets?

There are so many homeless animals that were abandoned… I think we should try to give them the love they deserve. Buying a pet let people think that they are objects instead of living beings. Breed dogs aren’t more valuable than mixed breed dogs.

What is your opinion about climate change?

It´s important to be aware of what´s happening to the Earth. Humans are destroying the planet where they live and they don´t understand there isn’t another one. We have no second chance. We need to fix what we made and get our beautiful planet back.

What is your opinion about legalization of abortion in the 3 cases?

There must be more than three cases. Women have died because of clandestine abortion because they have no resources to make it in a safe way. Abortion will exist even when people will try to stop it. Let women be free to take their own decisions.

My autobiography - Post n°1

Amparo Jeldres Pizarro was born in Santiago, Chile. She started school at Instituto Ramón Freire. Two years later, she went to colegio Juan Pablo Duarte in Providencia. Then, when she was 10 years old she moved to Coquimbo for 2 years where she studied at colegio La Herradura. She came back to Santiago and finished her high school studies at Liceo n°7 de Providencia.

In 2019, she entered to study veterinary medicine at Universidad de Chile.

Amparo used to live with her grandparents, parents and sister in Maipú, but in 2018 she moved to Ñuñoa and now she is living with her sister and her mother. She has two dogs named Milo and Negro.

When Amparo studied at Liceo 7, she was part of the school choir for three years. Also, she played viola in the orchestra for three years too. This gave her the opportunity of meeting new places and having new awesome experiences. As you can see, Amparo likes to sing and play viola, but now she is not part of any group of music.
